OUR STORY

Rotaract club of Canary Wharf, a subsection of the Rotary Club based in Tower Hamlets, East London has devised a campaign to fund-raise money to help the previously homeless find jobs. Through collaboration with FoodCycle and Thames Reach-Employment Academy,

the campaign consists of the production and selling of a recipe

and spice sample booklet “Bites of London”.

 

The aim of the campaign is to encourage an appreciation for some of the culinary dishes with origins in Britain and connections to London while using the funds to support charities based in London. The project will support FoodCycle and Thames Reach-Employment Academy in equipping people on their journey away from their previously homeless state with life and work skills, through training, workshops and work opportunities.

 

Rotaract is a non-political and non-secretarian organisation and welcomes members from all backgrounds regardless of race, gender or religious beliefs.

It is an international service and leadership organisation for men & women aged 18 – 30.

Rotaract club of Canary Wharf Rotaract club of Canary Wharf was re-established

in early 2012 and is currently the only Rotaract club serving East London.
